The latest schedule adjustments due to coronavirus deal with college basketball.
The Emporia State men’s basketball team will not play its next three games — against Newman, Central Oklahoma or Rogers State — due to COVID-19 protocols, including 14-day quarantines. The games will be rescheduled at a later time.
Meanwhile, the Emporia State Lady Hornets will play those games even after head coach Toby Wynn came down with the virus. He’s listed as asymptomatic and is isolating at home. Assistant Coach Kiel Unruh is coaching in Wynn’s absence against Newman on Thursday and Central Oklahoma on Saturday.
