Both Greenwood and Wabaunsee counties are announcing more deaths due to coronavirus.
Both of the county’s deaths have happened over the last three weeks. This comes as the county added over 20 new cases over the Thanksgiving weekend and now has 227 total cases, including 33 active.
Wabaunsee County, meanwhile, added one new death and now has five since the pandemic started. The overall caseload went from 295 last Wednesday to 308 Tuesday, but there has been a sharp drop in active cases from 79 to 29 during that time.
