A wintry mix of precipitation is possible by late Wednesday night, giving a chance of slick travels during the overnight hours early Thursday.
Light rain could start by late Wednesday afternoon, with a gradual changeover to snow starting before midnight. Slick spots could develop on elevated surfaces, especially bridges and overpasses, as overnight lows dip to around 30 degrees.
At this time, total accumulations look to be light with an inch or less of rain and snow across Lyon County and most surrounding counties. Snowfall could end before noon Thursday.
