The Kansas City Royals have agreed to a one-year contracts with first baseman/outfielder Hunter Dozier and outfielder/DH Jorge Soler Wednesday.
Dozier’s deal, which is guaranteed and was announced by the club, will pay him $2.72 million dollars plus incentives. Soler’s deal is for just over $8 million dollars.
The Royals non-tendered 6 players including Maikel Franco and Bubba Starling.
They also non-tendered infielder Jeison Guzman, infielder/outfielder Erick Mejia. Left-handed pitcher Foster Griffin and right-handed pitcher Carlos Sanabria.
The Royals still have two arbitration-eligible players remaining unsigned: shortstop Adalberto Mondesi and staff ace Brad Keller.
