The Emporia High boys swim and dive team finished in 4th place out of 6 teams in their season opening meet Thursday.
Diver Braxton Higgins finished in 1st place with a state qualifying score.
Skyler Higgins finished in 3rd place.
The Spartan swimmers had 3 top 6 finishes.
The 200 free relay team of Mason Harmon, Rudy Bedolla, Cam Geitz and Daniel Knapp finished in 3rd place.
Cam Geitz placed 5th in the 100 free. Rudy Bedolla finished 6th in the 50 free.
The Spartan swim and dive teams will host a meet next Friday
