The Emporia High girls basketball team opens their season Friday night with a game at Labette County.
Emporia High girls Coach Carolyn Dorsey says this will be a good test for the Lady Spartans.

Tip-off for the girls varsity is set for around 7:30p.
The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
The Labette County girls were scheduled to open their season against Bonner Springs, however the Bonner Springs girls are in quarantine and cannot play.
The Labette County boys will play Bonner Springs. That still leaves Emporia High without a game Friday night. The Emporia Boys will play their season opener next Tuesday.
