There is no Breakfast with Santa taking place at the Emporia Public Library this holiday season, but there is something else coming this weekend.
It’s the first-ever Kids’ Holiday Breakfast Cruise Thru. Library Director Robin Newell explained on KVOE’s Morning Show on Friday:
Santa Countdown calendars are also available.
The library has prepared 500 meal and craft packets for Saturday’s event. It typically has between 500 and 600 people in the building for Breakfast with Santa.
Newell says this isn’t the only holiday activity at the library in the short term. The Friends of the Library have donated wrapped children’s books available through the library’s contact-free pickup process. Residents need to call the library at 340-6462 and give the age of their children. Parents and guardians can pick up one book per child while supplies last.
For more information, call the library, go online to www.emporialibrary.org or find the library on Facebook.
