The Kansas State High School Activities Association Board of Directors has voted to allow fans to attend winter sports events. This replaces the no-fans allowed restriction.
Tuesday afternoon the board of directors approved an amendment to their November 24th regulations, that beginning December 10th thru January 28th 2 parents or guardians per participant(s) family will be allowed to attend winter sports events, if allowed by the local board of education and local health department.
This also means that if a family has more then 1 participant they still receive only 2 tickets.
This new ruling goes into effect with Thursdays games.
After January 28th attendance will be limited to allow for appropriate distancing for the facility and in accordance with local admission and attendance policies.
All participants and spectators will be required to wear masks except when athletes are competing.
