Lyon County’s overall COVID-19 caseload is approaching 2,800 after the latest announcement from Public Health on Wednesday.
Public Health announced 62 new cases between Monday and Wednesday, putting the total at 2,797 cases since late March. Seventy-one patients are listed as recovered between the reporting periods, moving the active caseload down to 241. One person died, so the death toll is at 51. There are four deaths pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
The number of hospitalized Lyon County residents remained at 11.
Greenwood County will also announce its COVID-19 stats Wednesday.
