Another retailer is closing up shop in Emporia.
Cato Fashions at 2313 Industrial has posted a sign on its storefront announcing the closure. Store staff tell KVOE News rent recently increased for the business, and rather than find a new space the decision was made to close altogether.
The final day for the business will be Christmas Eve.,
This will further hamper choices for clothes shopping locally. Earlier this year, Glik’s and JCPenney both closed at Flinthills Mall.
