It was a good day for the Emporia High wrestling teams Saturday.
The boys were 3-0 at the Eudora duels tournament.
The Spartans defeated DeSoto 72-0, They defeated Eudora 49-29 and defeated Rossville 64-6.
The Emporia High girls finished in 2nd place at Great Bend.
The Lady Spartans had two-second place finishes, Madelynn Griffin at 126 pounds and Caitlin Bolton at 132 pounds.
There were 2 third-place finishes, Evelin Geronimo at 101 pounds and Kiana Delgado-Flores at 170 pounds.
2 wrestlers finished in fourth place, Hannah Boa at 143 pounds and Alexis Turpin at 170 pounds.
The Emporia High wrestlers will be hosting the Winter Classic next Saturday.
