Lyon County has now surpassed over 2,900 total coronavirus cases according to the latest report from Lyon County Public Health.
Monday, Public Health announced 89 new COVID-19 cases bringing the overall total since late March to 2,940. 120 new recoveries saw the county’s active case number continue to drop and now stands at 148.
The death count remained at 51 Monday with six cases pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Active hospitalizations dropped from eight on Friday to seven Monday.
