The Emporia High wrestling team finished in 1st place in the Emporia Winter Classic Saturday.
The Spartans had 2 Champions, Luckas Hainline at 120 pounds and Xerarch Tungjaroenkul at 145 pounds.
5 Spartans finished in 2nd place, Pierce Moore at 113 pounds, David Tucker at 126 pounds, Bobby Trujillo at 182 pounds, Carter Garza at 195 pounds, and Diego Flores at 285 pounds.
Emporia High also had 2 third-place finishes, Ethan Garate, at 170 pounds, and Dylan Stopp at 220 pounds.
Goddard Eisenhower finished in 2nd place. Burlingame finished in 3rd place. Chase County finished in 10th place.
Chase Countys Mitch Budke finished in 2nd place 160 pounds.
Osage Citys Connor Collins finished in 1st place at 126 pounds, Dane Whalen finished in 1st place at 285 pounds and Eli King finished in 1st place at 220 pounds.
