Time is running out for a chance to win a stunning diamond ring all to support the efforts of one local charitable organization.
The annual Kari’s Christmas Ring for Kids fundraiser concludes Wednesday with raffle tickets still available for purchase through noon Wednesday. This year’s prize is a vintage three-quarter karat diamond set in 14-karat white gold valued at $6,200.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to benefit SOS this holiday season. Director Connie Cahoone says the funds generated from the event each year help the organization “fill in the gaps” for children and families during the holiday season.
Cahoone says no matter what, they will never let a family or child in their care go without something on Christmas.
Those interested in entering the drawing may purchase tickets at Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal located at 1015 Industrial Road. Cost is $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20.
The drawing will take place at Kari’s at 4 pm Wednesday.
