An Osage City man was taken to a Topeka hospital after a crash in north Lyon County late Wednesday night.
Lyon County Deputy Doug Stump says 18-year-old Noah Smith was eastbound on US Highway 56 when he fell asleep at the wheel near Allen. Smith’s car went off the highway and rolled.
Rescue workers extricated Smith and took him to Stormont-Vail Hospital. Injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Smith was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
