A 10-day shutdown is now over for the Emporia driver’s license office.
The facility inside Flinthills Mall closed Dec. 18 after a suspected coronavirus exposure. It reopened Monday as planned.
Residents have more time to renew their licenses than they did when the office closed after Governor Laura Kelly extended the renewal deadline to June 30. Residents still need to email KDOR_EmporiaDL@ks.gov to reschedule visits that were canceled because of the closure. They can also renew online through www.iKan.ks.gov.
