Wet and cold conditions are expected to continue through the evening and possibly into the overnight hours.
Rainfall is expected to give way to a wintry mix of precipitation around midnight Tuesday, however, little to no accumulation is expected.
Refreezing is a concern, however, with temperatures dropping into the mid to high 20’s overnight. TV-13 Meteorologist Jeremy Goodwin says he does not expect much impact to major roadways and other treated surfaces, however, drivers should still exercise caution nonetheless.
Additionally, Goodwin encourages residents to mind their footing in the evening and early morning hours.
A winter storm watch has been issued for Chase and Greenwood counties from Thursday evening through Friday afternoon. Wintry precipitation is expected with an inch or more of snow accumulation anticipated at this time.
