The Kansas City Chiefs Wednesday announced that Chad Henne will be the starting quarterback Sunday giving Patrick Mahomes a break.
Coach Andy Reid said he wants to see what the players who have not seen a lot of playing time can do.
6 players did miss practice Wednesday – Le’Veon Bell with a knee injury, Tyreek Hill with a hamstring spasm, Clyde Edwards -Helaire with a high ankle sprain,
Sammy Watkins with a calf strain, Ben Niemann with a hamstring strain, and Mike Remmers with a back injury.
The Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday afternoon with kick-off set for 3:25p.
