After having Wednesdays game with Central Oklahoma postponed the Emporia State mens basketball team is now focused on beginning 2021.
The Emporia State men will play Newman Saturday afternoon.
Newman Wednesday night played at Wichita State.
Emporia State Coach Craig Doty said not being able to play is frustrating.
Senior Austin Downing says they need to stick together.
The Emporia State women have not played since December 3rd.
Coach Toby Wynn says it is like starting over.
Coach Wynn said they are also down to 8 healthy players and the coaching staff has had to be a part of the scout team.
In High School, Coach Wynn did have a game he scored 45 points.
The Lady Hornets travel to Fort Hays State Saturday.
