Osage County deputies have announced an arrest in an alleged drug distribution case.
The Sheriff’s Office says it conducted a search warrant at an unspecified address in Lyndon on Tuesday. 28-year-old Cody Root was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute as well as possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Root was also booked on suspicion of unlawfully obtaining or distributing a prescription-only drug.
Additional details have not been released. Formal charges are pending.
