Kansas never led in the game as Texas earned the most lopsided win by an opponent in the 65-year history of Allen Fieldhouse.
Kansas Coach Bill Self said they needed to play with more energy.
The Jayhawks were led by Jalen Wilson with 20 points. They are now 8-2 overall and 2-1 in the Big-12. They are scheduled to play at TCU Tuesday.
