Free coronavirus testing moves inside the Fairgrounds Anderson Building on Monday.
Since Dec. 18, the free tests through GoGetTested.com and WellHealth Management have taken place outside the Anderson Building in a drive-up format. Former Lyon County Health Officer Renee Hively approved a walk-in format Thursday.
GoGetTested.com and WellHealth Management have not confirmed whether the previous schedule of 9 am to 5:30 pm Mondays through Saturdays will continue with the new setup.
Free tests are set to continue at the Anderson Building through January. Residents are encouraged to register online first by going to www.GoGettested.com/Kansas, but residents will not be turned away if they don’t register online first.
Testing also continues at the Flint Hills Community Health Center and Newman Regional Health. For both those sites, residents need a doctor’s order and need to be either symptomatic or a close contact of a confirmed patient.
