Lyon County is starting the year off with a rise in both overall and active coronavirus cases.
Monday, Public Health reported 112 new cases bringing the overall total since last March to 3,395. With only 49 recoveries reported the active case number has risen by 63 to 165.
The death count also increased by one to 60 with three deaths pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Active hospitalizations also saw a rise of one from eight on Wednesday to nine Monday.
*Osage County reported 51 new cases bringing the overall total to 750 with 17 new active cases bringing the active total to 61. Eight deaths have been reported.
