The Emporia State basketball teams continue a busy first week of 2021 with road games at Rogers State Monday.
The Lady Hornets and Hornets began the 4 games in 8 days with wins Saturday. The Lady Hornets defeated Fort Hays State 62-61. The men routed Newman 76-42.
The Lady Hornets will be facing a Rogers State team that is 1-6. Emporia State Coach Toby Wynn says they will need to keep the defensive intensity up.
The Rogers State men are 2-5 for the season. Emporia State Coach Craig Doty says they have to be ready for a physical game.
Game times in Claremore, Oklahoma is 5:30 pm for the women and 7:30 pm for the men. Pregame begins at 5:10 pm.
The games will be broadcast on MIX 104.9.
