A pretrial hearing is ahead for an Emporia man accused of being involved in a shooting and home invasion robbery last fall.
Kenneth Hopkins, 21, had a preliminary hearing Monday and was set for a pretrial and felony arraignment Jan. 29.
Hopkins is charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and an alternate count of criminal trespass after a pair of incidents in late October, including a shooting at Linn and Whildin and an alleged robbery at 9 South Rural.
Co-defendants Marcos Diaz and Lance Sutton, both 24, remain at large at last word and are considered armed and dangerous. Diaz is an Hispanic male, 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds, while Sutton is a black male, 6-1 and 170 pounds.
