One man was taken to Newman Regional Health after a wreck just west of Emporia early Tuesday.
The driver, 37-year-old Kevin Dobson Jr., hometown not listed, was in the 1700 block of Road G shortly before 3 am when he drifted off the road and hit a tree — apparently at relatively low speed, according to Deputy Danny Broyles.
Dobson was taken to Newman Regional Health with apparently non-life-threatening injuries. Broyles says he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
