Lyon County Public Health says four more residents have died due to coronavirus since Monday.
Public Health says the total death toll is now at 64 after Wednesday’s update. Another four deaths are awaiting final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
One person had died between Dec. 30 and this past Monday.
Lyon County added 89 new cases Wednesday, moving the overall total to 3,484 cases since late March. With 51 recovered patients, the active caseload increased for the second straight reporting period and is now at 199. Active hospitalizations for county residents increased from eight to 10.
Greenwood County should announce its update by early evening.
