Emporia’s Dollar Tree location has now been closed for several days and the reason for that closure are unclear.
Residents began noticing the closure late last week. KVOE News called the store’s listed phone number Monday. It went unanswered, as has an email to Dollar Tree’s corporate office. The store also had both an open sign flashing and a carboard closed sign on its windows.
The Dollar Tree’s Facebook page listed to the Emporia store continues to post items for sale.
Meanwhile, Emporia’s Burger King restaurant is also closed. Signs on the restaurant say the closure is temporary until further notice. Calls to the restaurant go to voice mail.
