A barn and all contents inside will be a total loss after fire developed Tuesday afternoon.
Fire developed in a barn near Roads 130 and M around 4:30 pm, eventually engulfing the structure. Early indications are several farm implements and upwards of 300 small hay bales were inside.
The cause is under investigation. Emporia and Olpe firefighters have been working the incident alongside Lyon County deputies.
