After spending last week on the road the Emporia State basketball teams return to White Auditorium Thursday night hosting Pittsburg State.
The Emporia State women have not played a game in 10 days and have played only 5 games this season.
Senior Fredricka Sheats is looking forward to playing again.
The Pittsburg State women are 6-3 and have won their last 5 games.
Emporia State Coach Toby Wynn says this will be a tough challenge.
The Emporia State men are 5-4 and are looking to snap a 3 game losing skid.
Coach Craig Doty says they need to be ready to play every possession.
Mayuom Boum the 6-10 freshman from Lincoln, Nebraska has earned a spot in the starting lineup and says he is becoming more comfortable on the floor.
The Pittsburg State men are also 5-4.
Game times are 5:30 for the women and 7:30 for the men.
The games will be broadcast on MIX 104.9.
Emporia State has announced that they have moved the game with Washburn from Sunday, January 24th to Saturday, January 23rd.
Saturday the 23rd became available because the Flint Hills Shoot out has decided to play all games at the league schools.
