Most counties in the KVOE listening area updated their coronavirus caseload data Thursday and Friday.
Coffey County had 24 new cases since Jan. 8, moving the total to 537 cases. Thirty cases are active, up three from the prior week. Twelve people have died, up one from the Jan. 8 report.
Greenwood County added 11 cases, so its total is at 547 cases. Active cases went from 50 to 22. Two people have died.
Osage County added 19 cases between Monday and Thursday with 861 total cases, the second-highest in the area behind Lyon County. Active cases went from 85 to 63. There have been eight deaths.
Wabaunsee County is at 545 cases, up seven from Wednesday. Active cases went from 89 to 104. Three people have died since Wednesday, moving the death toll to 13.
