Lyon County did not report new coronavirus data Monday because of Martin Luther King Day, but several neighboring counties did.
Chase County is listing 155 total community cases, up five from a week ago. There are four active cases and there have been two deaths. Chase County is no longer listing outbreaks at Chase County Care and Rehab or the Detention Center after those locations had no new data for over a month.
Morris County added 24 new cases over the last week and now has 502 total. Active cases dipped from 40 to 25, but the death toll went from six to 16 and there is one death awaiting final cause from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Morris County has also delisted the outbreak at Diversicare of Council Grove, which had been announced just after Thanksgiving and had remained stable the past several weeks.
Lyon, Greenwood and Wabaunsee counties are set to report Wednesday.
