Strong planning and buy-in from district patrons have led to a so-far smooth transition into the spring semester for most area school districts.
During a recent interview with KVOE News USD 284 Chase County Superintendent Glenna Grinstead says things are going well in the early stages of the new semester. She credited strong planning and the installation of several mitigation strategies for that progress.
She says while, for the most part, the school year has gone fairly well, there have been some roadblocks outside of the school buildings that have complicated the process to an extent. Specifically, Grinstead says the district has had some issues with broadband internet access.
She says despite the issues the district’s flexibility and willingness to adapt has helped to keep their students’ educational journey on track.
KVOE will continue its series of interviews with area Superintendents as part of the Morning Show as the school year continues to unfold.
