The Emporia High boys basketball team rolled to a 72-48 win over Coffeyville Saturday to finished in 3rd place at the Ralph Miller Classic.
The Spartans held a 24-14 lead after the 1st quarter and never trailed. Coach Beau Welch said they got better as the game progressed.
Charles Snyder led the Spartans with 15 points and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Jacob Ortega and Hunter Heins both finished with 13 points and Camden Kirmer added 11 points.
The Spartans return to action Friday when they play at Washburn Rural.
