As Lyon County Public Health continues to both inform and educate residents about the coronavirus pandemic, its recently-redesigned website makes it easier for residents to get information about two key aspects of the county’s ongoing response.
Residents can now go to www.publichealth.lyoncounty.org to either schedule their shots in the case of an upcoming mass vaccination clinic or learn more about the process if clinics have not been scheduled. There is also an infographic detailing the county’s five-phase approach, including a current status report on Phase 2 and tentative timelines for upcoming phases.
The website also has information about scheduling COVID-19 tests through the Flint Hills Community Health Center. This would involve symptomatic patients and close contacts of confirmed cases — as opposed to the ongoing effort for the general public at the Fairgrounds Anderson Building which will end this week.
Frequently asked questions and the longstanding COVID-19 data dashboard are still part of the website.
Residents needing more information about coronavirus can also call the Public Health hotline at 620-208-3741 or follow Lyon County Public Health on Facebook.
