Lyon County Public Health has announced its next COVID-19 vaccination clinic, however, it will not be open to the general public.
The closed clinic will take place Friday and due to a “limited supply of vaccine” will be available only to those “vulnerable elderly populations without internet access” to schedule appointments. According to Justin Ogelby of Public Health, as the organization begins to learn the size of its allotment of vaccine the organization will make the decision to have another open clinic like last weekend’s.
When the clinic is scheduled, an announcement for the opening of scheduling will be made 24-hours in advance utilizing traditional media and the Lyon County Public Health Facebook page. Further comment from FHCHC CEO Renee Hively is currently pending.
