At long last, the winner of “The Cut” can finally be revealed.
Addyson Forbeck won the Flint Hills Technical College’s annual cooking challenge after working through an appetizer, entree and dessert menu full of mystery items. She was surprised to be named the winner.
In second place was Andrea Cross. She says she had a great time.
Haley Cluck was third and JD Schoepflin was fourth.
In addition to the work done by the chefs, the college’s Multimedia Design team produced the nearly 45-minute show, trimming down some 400 hours of video the past three months.
The showcase event for Flint Hills Technical College was held in early October, with the edited program airing Tuesday night on ValuNet FIBER and the college’s Facebook page. Unlike past years, the event was not held live, reflecting changes prompted by COVID-19.
Celebrity judges included college board president Ken Roemer, Radius head chef and co-owner Gus Bays and Ben E Keith sales representative Jack Feist.
