So far, so good as Emporia State University is off and rolling into the spring semester.
That was the assessment of President Allison Garrett during this week’s installment of the ESU Buzz on KVOE.
ESU has made several schedule adjustments to account for COVID-19, including the delay in starting the second semester, eliminating spring break and adding a handful of extra days off to account for not having a spring break this year. She credited students and staff for following the ongoing mitigation practices, notably mask use and social distancing.
Garrett says the goal is to return to normal by the fall semester, but that will depend on vaccine availability.
