The Waverly girls and boys, Hartford girls, and Southern Coffey County boys were winners in the consolation semifinals of the Lyon County League basketball tournament Thursday.
The Hartford girls held on for a 31-29 win over Southern Coffey County. They will play Waverly in the 5th place game Saturday. Waverly outscored Marais des Cygnes Valley 72-28.
In the boys’ consolation semifinals, Southern Coffey County outscored Hartford 52-40 and Waverly was a 64-40 winner over Marais des Cygnes Valley. Waverly faces Southern Coffey County in the 5th place game.
The Championship semifinals will be played Friday.
4 pm Burlingame girls play Lebo.
5:30 pm Lebo boys play Madison.
7:00 pm Olpe girls vs Madison.
8:30 pm Olpe boys vs Burlingame.
