Emporia city officials haven’t said when they plan to replace a downed traffic light in downtown Emporia.
The light impacting southbound travel at Seventh and Commercial was reported downed Saturday afternoon. The pole was eventually removed, but southbound drivers have had to watch for a temporary stop sign since then.
Exactly how the pole was downed has not been announced.
