Activities celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King JR at Emporia State University are coming to an end.
A special town hall discussion titled “Leadership in the Midst of Chaos” will serve as the main event of activities Tuesday afternoon. The discussion will take an in-depth look at the legacy of Dr. King and how it connects to the goals and objectives of the Kansas Leadership Center.
ESU Director of Diversity Student Programs Teresa Taylor Williams invites everyone to attend the event.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the town hall will be held virtually and is a collaboration between Diversity Student Programs, the ESU Honors College and the Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion. The program will take place at 3 pm Tuesday online at Hornet.digital/TV.
