Area counties indicated modest increases in coronavirus with their latest data sets announced Monday.
Chase County added five cases to its community category, which now stands at 164. Active cases went from seven last Monday to three. Two people have died.
Greenwood County added five cases since Friday and now has 570 total cases. Active cases dipped from 21 to 17. Two people have died.
Morris County added 21 cases over the past week and now has 551 total. Active cases declined from 30 to 21, but the death toll increased from 16 to 17.
Osage County added 23 new cases since Thursday and now has 949 total. Active cases increased from 32 to 40. The death toll stayed at 11.
Wabaunsee County added 17 new cases since Jan. 25 and now has 611 total. Active cases declined from 46 to 39. Deaths remained at 13.
Lyon and Greenwood counties are set to announce new numbers Wednesday.
