Lyon County commissioners have a busy day ahead Wednesday.
Commissioners have a study session to start their day. They will have three executive sessions before going to a road view on parts of Old West Highway 50 and Road 170.
Following that meeting, county commissioners will host a joint meeting with Emporia city commissioners. Discussion items include use of vacant buildings, fireworks sales policy and the setup of a sales tax committee.
The study meeting starts at 9 am with the joint meeting at 11:30 am. Both meetings will be in the County Courthouse.
