Tre’Zure Jobes 29 points helped carry the Emporia State women to a 86-75 win over Northeastern State Thursday night.
The Lady Hornets used an 18-9 run to close out the 1st quarter and never looked back on the way to their 11th win of the season.
Emporia State would score 17 points off of 11 steals in the 1st half. Coach Toby Wynn said that was a big part of the win.
Ehlaina Hartman added 19 points connecting on 4 three-point shots. Karsen Schultz added 14 points and Fredricka Sheats finished with 13 points.
With the win, the Lady Hornets improve to 11-3. They are scheduled to host Rogers State Saturday.
The mens game was postponed. The men are also scheduled to host Rogers State on Saturday.
