One of three suspects in a home invasion and shooting from last fall will return to Lyon County District Court early next month.
24-year-old Lance Sutton had a preliminary hearing inside Lyon County District Court Wednesday afternoon where he was bound over on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. Sutton was arrested in late October in connection to a shooting at Linn and Whildin and a robbery at 9 South Rural.
Sutton’s next appearance has been set for 10 am Mar. 1.
A second suspect in the case, Kenneth Hopkins, will appear in district court twice next month for a mediation hearing on Mar. 12 at 2:30 pm and a motions hearing on Mar. 17 at 2 pm. Hopkins is charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and an alternate count of criminal trespass in the case.
A third suspect, 24-year-old Marcos Diaz, remains at large at last word.
