Three Topeka residents were hospitalized following an injury accident in Wabaunsee County Saturday afternoon.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Interstate 70 at milepost 339.1 just outside of Paxico. A 2008 Dodge Ram driven by 31-year-old Jesse Michael Mohler of Topeka was “traveling too fast for conditions” left the roadway, entered the north ditch and overturned.
Mohler and two passengers 12-year-old Riley Mohler and 30-year-old Jami Mohler were all taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka with suspected minor injuries.
All three individuals were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
