Kansas City Chiefs fans were celebrating the team’s second straight trip to the Super Bowl for much of Sunday — until the game started.
Highlights were few and far between for the Chiefs, who lost 31-9 to Tampa Bay and were denied a second straight NFL title. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was harassed all game, and the Chiefs committed 11 penalties in the loss — including eight in the first half.
