A GoFundMe page and a special bank account have been set up for an Emporia woman who was hurt in a crash in Franklin County last weekend.
Crystal Redick, 41, was outside her parked car when she was hit by an oncoming car that lost control due to icy highway conditions near Ottawa on Feb. 6. Redick, the manager of Emporia’s Wendy’s restaurant, was taken to Overland Park Regional afterward and is still in the hospital.
Family members have set up the accounts to pay for rent, utilities for Redick and her children. Fundraising events are also in the planning stages.
