You could call it a bittersweet handoff at Triad Leasing on Wednesday.
Chiefs fan Brendy Allison claimed the spoils of Tampa Bay’s 31-9 Super Bowl win over Kansas City to close out the Country 101.7 FM Watch the Chiefs promotion. Allison says it was weird to be in a position to pull for Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady when she’s “not a Brady fan.” Now that the TV is in hand, Allison was asked what she planned to watch when it was installed.
Allison won an LG 55-inch smart TV. Triad’s Karina Garza says it’s fun for her and the store staff to follow along.
Throughout the NFL regular season, listeners to Country 101.7 FM had a chance to name two mystery players during each game. Successful participants then qualified for the chance to win the television and also received a free one-topping pizza from Gambino’s. Sixteen competitors in total picked a number at the start of the playoffs and were either assigned one of the 14 NFL teams in contention to win the Super Bowl or were told better luck next year.
