Suzie LeGault was the lucky individual struck by Cupid’s Arrow Friday.
LeGault was the winner of KVOE’s Annual Cupid’s Arrow promotion claiming a stunning quarter karat diamond heart pendant set in 14 karat gold valued at $1,200 courtesy of Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal. Upon receiving her prize Friday afternoon, LeGault was in awe of the design.
Kari’s owner Kari Stookey says LeGault’s reaction was the main reason why she loves being a part of events like this.
Since Jan. 31, KVOE listeners listened for the special Cupid’s Arrow sounder between 11 am and 3 pm weekdays. Three callers were then randomly selected, with each caller choosing a special love word from a short list announced on the air.
Correct guesses led to prizes from participating sponsors, including AKA The Sports Fan, Bruffs Sports Bar and Grill, Emporia Floral, Gambino’s Pizza, Designs by Sharon and The Sweet Granada — as well as entry in Friday’s final round.
